I am obsessed with Debbie and you’ll find out why in a few minutes. BUT before we dive in, I just want to quote one thing she said to me during our interview that I highlighted and bolded as she was saying it:  “We’re afraid to accept our current success based on what we did in the past.”  I could end the blog here quite frankly!  MIC DROP! 

Even after losing 70 pounds and finally fulfilling her dream of being a mom she was still working on her identity. 

She started appreciating her body and feeling lucky for the body that she has.  Now she is having open conversations of where she was before becoming a coach and how body image can play such a huge role in our lives.

“You have to know your values and be really strong.  Once you know that you can make better decision. Do I want to indulge or am I doing it because I want to make those other people comfortable. You’re in charge and the one who makes the ultimate decision of your body.”    

One of the biggest struggles was the self-limiting belief that she couldn’t do it.  She watched others on social media crush their goals and she would say “there’s no way in hell I can do that.”  I convinced myself that I couldn’t do it and wouldn’t have the drive or commitment to do that.”
